    Hello Everyone,

I've got a Dell laptop that's had the LCD monitor removed (as it failed) so I though I'd try and use it as a media player connected to the TV. However whilst it's got an SVideo connection, it will only enable the video when a monitor is connected via the VGA socket.

Would anyone know of a VGA "dongle" that would spoof the presence of a monitor and allow me to press the hot keys to get the video to the SVideo socket?

    Cheers,

    Dunedin
