Ive got over 50 DVD's in my to watch pile, and find myself going to the shelf and getting a DVD that Ive seen time an time before.

Its not that the stuff in my to watch pile is crap either, loads of new releases an a few superbits. Am I just being really indecisive or do others amoungst you have this problem?

Squirrel gods to watch pile is probably as tall as he is so maybe he could answer this:D

    I had a similar problem.
I would watch all the exciting new stuff and my old favourites, but would ignore 80% of my collection. I now have a system where, if I cant decide what to watch, I use a random number generator (supplied by Squirrel) to select 6 numbers. I then select the DVDs with the corresponding collection number on my DVDProfiler. I then choose one of the six to watch.
I know it sounds rather silly, but it works well. I have seen and thoroughly enjoyed films I know I would never have selected myself. My collection has varied over the last coupld of years between 600 and 750. It is not possible to trawl through every disc and consider its individual merits.

Ive got about 300 DVD's just looking at them now Ive got 6 or 7 boxsets that I havent even picked up yet.

I want to get all of the unwatched stuff watched and its really annoying me.

Saying that, Postman chucked another 6 through the door this morning, and it took me all of a second to decide that the Led Zeppelin DVD was going on.

The Rest of the house who were all asleep were not as happy as me :D

Seems to me that you guys spend too much money on DVDs.
I only buy DVDs which I know I will want to watch.

I only buy DVDs I will want to watch, it is just that it can take a while before I want to watch them. On occasion, this has been years.

I had a similar thread a while back stating I had about 50 dvd's in my to watch pile. The figure now stands at 105 and I've a few more on the way (Daredevil, GONY and the like). I too often find it difficult deciding what to watch. Tonight for instance I may watch The Untouchables ( never seen for some reason) or here's a few more that'll do but what do you lot suggest out off:-
    The Warrior
    Dinosaur
    Straw Dogs
    Almost Famous
    Moulin Rouge
    My Little Eye
    Shadow of the Vampire
    High Fidelity
    A midnight Clear
    Tsui Hark's Vampire Hunters........

    you see my predicament lol!

I dont have much of a choice, the films arrive and must be watched and then reviewed so I have no say, but have found some gems that I dont think I would have watched other wise.
