hi there, i am new to this
could anyone please explain in simple terms how can i use 2 projectors to send the same image in order to double the projection size? i guess they call it Splitting image to 2 projectors and somehow you send half of image to one projector and the other half to the other projector and need to have them next to each other.

i have read the previous thread but it still doesnt make sense to me at all as how do i arrange this splitting of image and rearranging it where to send it

    cheers

I'm guessing you can only do this with a PC connected. Get a dual head graphics card and set it up as a dual monitor output in Windows XP you won't be able to do it with a DVD player / SKY box or other such device.

Unless your PC has a TV capture card then you can scale it across both outputs to both projectors.

And you'd need 4 projectors, wouldn't you? Or you'd get a very stretched image.

..and you'd still need a PC not just a SKY box or DVD player....

    2 x projectors with aspect ratio of 4 x 3 would give you 6 x 3 = 2.66 which is close to 2.35 aspect ratio films.

You could get away with it.

Bit of a bugger to line up though.
