I recorded Live8, and would like to split my .mpg files into files for each artist. Anyone know of any free software to do this easily (and without re-encoding to avi files or demuxing, preferably)?

    Thanks,

    Mike.

You need an mpeg editor . It won't be frame accurate unless it does a decode/reencode transparently.

If you have a look on the nebula forum there is a sticky.

I tried editing them in Nero but its a bit hit and miss and for some reason I can't burn more than one nebula dvd formatted recording to disc even though I can physically put them together in nero.

Thanks Keith. Hadn't known about the unofficial forum and hadn't noticed that the DigiTV v3.5 beta is available!
