Splitting AVI files

    Just a quickie, Do all vidoe editors have the facility to split AVI files into there conponant parts? (ie; audio & video). If not what do you guys use? :confused:

    Not all - but certainly many of them do - I use Ulead VideoStudio and it is very easy to split video and audio in that and output the sound as a seperate .wav file.

    I use Adobe Premiere 6 and that can also split the audio & video into separate files.
