I've imported all my CD collection into iTunes in mostly AAC format (but some in MP3). There are a few tracks at the end of albums which have that annoying 20 minute blank bit and then a little more after that. Consequently some tracks are 30 minutes long.
Is there any way to chop these endings off and cut the track down to it's proper size ?

Hi John i don't know of an easy way to split the file but what you can do directly in iTunes is make the ending sooner so the blank space is skipped.

Yo do this by selecting the song you want to change and then going to 'get info', next click on preferences, now you should see boxes saying start time and stop time so just adjust at what time you want the track to stop and the blank bit will be skipped.

    Hope that helps
