got the pc demo yesterday and all i can say is

to me this looks better than Hl2 & doom 3 and the gameplay is stagering.
A.I is among the best ive ever encountered and i cant wait for this to hit the shelfs. will post some screen shots later. also has a 1280x720 res so i will be playing this on the PJ when the Room/Screen is finished + it has a dolby 5.1 track as well. apprently its meant to be the boz but will have to wait and try it :D

unless your system is near enough top it will not look like above. this game is graphically intensive and i had to mess with the shader 3.0 to get my FPS up. HDR rendering killed my frames. think a 6800 Ultra OC'd will handle it, its that bad. looks so good when on though !!

will post more pictures of the outside and show you the new weather system and how sam's suit adapts

But what is the gameplay like?

I loved the first game, didn't like the second.

gameplay is truely spectacular.ive loved all the SC games so far & this game is developed by the same people that did the 1st ubisoft montreal. ubi shanghai did Pandora. i was just ingulfed by the whole level and how it looks feels etc. they have tweaked the gameplay to perfection. little things like changing what hand you have your gun in etc so you can peer round both corners. the combat knife is awesome. one of the best tnew features is the sound meter. also gives you a reading of ambient noise so you can keep yours underneath it. loads more moves to kill merc's. nothing better than popping out of a shodow and slashing the jugular ;) ! try it and find out. pc demo is in ukgamer and xbox demo will be in OXM next week

look cool, can't see too much on the screenies, but this is SC, what more would we expect? I hope it doesn't need too much of a monster PC to play, your PC pisses all over mine which is Athlon xp 2800, 1gb dual channel ddr400, geforce fx 5900

i think it will be playable for you guys. just when you want all the eye candy thats the killer. im fairly confident when the full game is out there will be some nvidia drivers better suited. its one of the first if not the first game released to fully support sm 3.0 and you cant tell that much difference between it and sm 1.1 but it does show in some area's.

marc the screenies dont do it justtice at all. jpg compression argh !! the one where the guy is tied up and the brick wall is blue is stunning in real time. the normal mapping and bump mapping is truely a work of art.

my suggestion pop into smith's and get the mag and demo
