Does anyone use an SPL meter to set up their amp. Are they useful or a waste of money? And if useful, anyone got a link to buy one?

Opps. Sorry, posted in wrong forum.

The analogue one is probably the better one as far as reading it goes - the digital ones can bounce around a bit.

If it's the same as the RS one, then I think the readings are incorrect at certain values, so need correcting. i.e for setting up a sub at frequencies from 15hz to 80hz in small steps.

Should be ok if you're just using it to set up speaker levels from the amp though, which is a must in my opinion.
