I need to get my pc cables under control, and this spiral cable tidy stuff seems like the best option. I saw some of it when it first came out (the zip-up type), but it seemed rather expensive for the amount you get. Just wondering if any other companies had copied the idea since, and maybe brought the prices down. Has anyone seen this type of thing at a good price?

I bought a Masterplug cable tidy set (from B&Q I think) 2.5m long and under a tenner.
How much do you need I've seen it in longer lengths on the Farnell website?

Yup, CPC/Farnell stock this kind of stuff and will be as cheap as anywhere else. Try www.cpc.co.uk, they provide a first rate service in my experience. :)

actually sourced some since, on ebay - same stuff as they used to advertise on tv, with the zip gizmo - 3m length, which should be long enough (though i'll get 2) for £2.75, and located in my home town, so hoping i can pick it up personally.

    cheers
