Now that looks more like something that Lex should buy rather than that other limited edition he was going about with a film cell and comic. Cheaper too - works out around £27 delivered. Quite good value.

Have to say I'm rather tempted myself since it includes the soundtrack CD too. :)

Spiderman has always been my favourite superhero :)

R1 is supposed to have a few extra extras. Wonder if they will be included on the R4 4-disk set.......

    Thought you might. :D

Me thinks me wants it too - I was gonna buy the soundtrack anyway :D

At £27 though, it's gonna be a risky one to get through customs :(

I bought several discs from ezy in one go and got stiffed for customs.

I bought a friends box set (AUD $ 65 ish) nad it got through with no problem.

I agree though $85 might be pushing it

You'll almost always get caught if they shove everything into one parcel.
I presume this was the 3-disk version? Can you remember what amount they wrote on the front of the parcel? I've noticed with ezydvd that if it's a single DVD (or double Amaray etc) in the parcel that they either write $10 or $20, no matter what you paid for it. :)

Dragged up this old thread now that the release date is getting close. :)

Am I being really thick here, but what is on the 4th disc? disc 1 is the film, disc 2 is the extras, disc 3 is the soundtrack, so what is on disc 4? more extras?

    Disk 4 is ......

Stan Lee's Mutants, Monsters And Marvels

In 1961, Stan Lee teamed with artist Jack Kirby to create the humanly flawed super hero team The Fantastic Four, changing the face of comic books forever. Stan and Jack followed up by going on a creative rampage, introducing mega franchise characters like The Incredible Hulk, The Mighty Thor and The Uncanny X-Men.

Then in 1964, Stan teamed with artist Steve Ditko to create a teenage super hero who had real teenager problems, a hero who would lose as much as he would win. The Amazing Spider-Man soon became, and would remain, the most popular comic book character in the world. Here, presented on two complete features enhanced by rare photos and hundreds of iconic images, Stan Lee talks in depth with filmmaker Kevin Smith about his role in creating our modern mythology.

    Special Features:

    Original Widescreen presentation

Behind-the-scenes featurette on the making of Stan Lee's Mutants, Monsters and Marvels

2 featurettes - “Stan Lee discusses the never released Fantastic Four movie” and “Rare Stan Lee home movie”

Bonus interview with Joan Lee _ Stan Lee’s wife

Bonus featurette - an original poem written by Stan Lee

    Bonus movie trailer

    Picture disc

    English (Stereo)

English, Greek, German, French, Italian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Hindi, Turkish, Danish, Arabic, Swedish, Finnish, Dutch, Norwegian, Hebrew,

    Widescreen (1.78:1/16:9 Enhanced)

No, I was talking about the region 4. Thanks - I did a search on CDWOW, but it came up with: "Sorry we do not have any DVDs with Spiderman in the title". Even though they have the W/S version, the F/S version and apparently the R4 version! Great database!

    Thanks for your help!

Ah, that's because Spiderman is actually "Spider-man". The hyphen is crucial  You'd think their search engine would relax the hyphens though  Oh well :)
Very welcome as always Lex :)

Time I hit the sack! Night :D
