Yep, that's well cheap. Think Partyweb mentioned it in the 2 discer thread. Good films both of them, I thought it was good value at the £12ish I paid...PJ :)

No need to apologise. Bargains like this deserve the publicity! Even better, it's the type of box set which should fair OK despite Sendit's generally inadequate box-set packaging policy...PJ :)

Sendit and Play are notorious for sending squashable box sets in standard jiffy bags hence they get... squashed, and / or corners get damaged. In my expereience Amazon seem to do the best packaging for box sets, CDWOW seem OK too.

Sendit / Play are OK for standard amaray cases and Spiderman box set is simply the two amarays with an outer cover hence should not crush too badly...PJ :)

Thought about it but 1,they are quite slow(film was pre-ordered but arrived 6 days after release) and 2,the replacement may be the same.

And 3 - How often can you be bothered to traips down to the local post office, pay to park the car, queue for 15 mins, then package the bleedin' thing up and post it back to them.

And 4 - your inner voice saying "get a life man, it's only a dent in a DVD cover, why are you going through all this trouble?" ;)

And 5 - Your other inner voice (ok, your Wife!) saying why are you paying more for some fancy cardboard box instead of a nice, shiny & strong plastic box :D

You could watch 24 series 1 to 4 before you received a replacement.

    7. The damaged box makes it easier to justify the re-purchase of said film when the HD version is released. ;)
