Do you know any good sites to buy hd-dvds etc from the US that offer a reliable delivery service? Thanks.

Remember, if you are importing goods from the USA using a mail-order, you may be charged import duty!

Just a warning.

A HUGE spike in the tick-data today.
It actually touched £1 = $1.999

Its going to happen today. I can almost guarantee it.

Breaking News at 9:44.

Sterling hits $2

Does movietyme use accurate pound/dollar conversions when showing their prices in pounds or are we best buying in dollars, if possible?

I'm sure we don't see the benefit of good exchange rates like this from retailers that charge in £s. Best ordering from places in the US if you ask me and getting charged in $

I bet a 360 Elite from videogamesplus would be at a tempting price now!

Anyone here old enough to remember when it was about $4.00 to the £ ?

was that before or after decimalisation?

Must have been after otherwise it would have been $400 to the £ :D

I take it £18 is the limit then? What happens if you go over? Say £100? What is the import duty then?

Read here for an earlier thread regarding paying import duty for goods from the USA.

It isn't very good reading
