    Hi all,

I will have about £4-500 to spend on a DVD player in the next few weeks to partner a new Philips 36" PixelPlus tv that I have just bought.

My main concerns are best picture and sound quality that i can get, and even then the picture quality is more important to me.

The player needs to have RGB out via Scart and a co-axial digital out.

It needs to be modded for region-free playback, including RCE. A VCR mode would by nice so that the picture can be sent to all the other rooms in the house, but not essential.

Have been considering a silver Sony DVP-900NS which a lot of people have been raving about, but am open to any suggestions which you may have.

Look forward to hearing your buying advice.

    Thanks,

    Matthew
