My mrs bought me one the other day, pretty rubbish and its as warm as having a thin dressing gown on.

    Please make it stop.....

Clothing for the hard of thinking......

    Stick a jumper on.

They're fine for kids but for grown adults? No.

My wife is proud to claim that she wanted a onesie for years before the current craze began. It's true, she was searching for an adult onesie on eBay nearly 10 years ago!

Confession time, I came home from night shift one winter's day last month and didn't fancy getting into a freezing bed, so I put her fleece lined onesie on and hit the sack.

In fairness it is a huge size, she bought it because it was less than half price and the last in stock so it is huge on her. She's still a bit put off that I was able to fit into it though, which was only possible due to having lost over 4 stone in recent months!

I took a picture and sent it to her at work before I went to sleep, lol.

Spot on. Simple and effective. Even more so before you get cold.

It's like humanity has lost common sense.

Alternatively get a dog :) having that big black boy cuddled up against me also keeps me warm.

Why are people so concerned about what others wear?

You want a onesie, go out and get one.

I have one but seldom wear it as it's a bit tight.

If I'm going somewhere very cold, I wouldn't hesitate wearing one.

Get one cheap and see if you like it; Thermal underwear mid layer unisex one piece suit by Sub Zero

I used to wear thermal underwear - long johns and a onesie - when walking the dogs mid winter here with temps down to -25C but, tbh, I wouldn't find them at all comfortable for wearing in general use.

Not a onesie, but I'd recommend a Norwegian army shirt and matching long johns. Quite literally saved my life many years ago!

I was in a bar the other night and a bloke in his 20's came up and ordered a pint in one. It had a cow design all over it and he was acting as if it was the most normal thing in the world. He looked like Andy Pandy and it was all I could do to keep a straight face.

This sort of clothing behaviour seems to be 'de rigeur' with young blokes just now.
Walking into pubs with christmas jumpers that would have had you beaten up 20 years ago etc.
Of course, their desire to look like an individual just ends up with them looking like any other young bloke.
