Spec for WMV HD, lower than I thought?

Hi all, just as an experiment I thought I would try playing a 720p WMV HD demo on my HTPC, I wasn't really expecting it to work due to my budget components:

AMD SEMPRON 2200
512MB DDR RAM
GF4MX 64MB
40GB SEAGATE 5400RPM HDD.

To my surprise it played fine  , using TT2 and outputting at 1280x720 via vga to my Z2, my CPU usage was between 50 - 68%.

I am curious to know what other people have used to play these files.
we could have a 'minimum spec' contest :rotfl:

I'm now going to try a 1080p file to see what happens!!

UPDATE.....

I have now tried a 1080p clip and found that my cpu usage is between 80-95%.

It's borderline but might just be good enough!

That's certainly less horse power than M$ recommend without hardware decoding support. I suspect 1080i may push it over the edge when it has to handle deinterlacing as well, but it's still a surprising result.
