    My current system includes
Sony STRDB940 Reciever and Bose AM15 speakers and sub.

On my reciever - I have the ability to add 2 extra fronts and an extra sub.

when i play music in 2channel stereo - the bose fronts seem to lack the deep rich bass - and it relies too much on the sub for its bass - so i was thinking of buying an extra set of speakers (possibly floorstanding) to get the extra bass when playing music - and that could also be used in the home cinema setup.
I dont want to spend too much (approx £250-300).
Any ideas what i could add to my system setup.

    Thanks

There is another thread on this forum concerning Bose and unfortunately they are not best loved here with the general opinion that they are a triumph of marketing over substance.

Bearing that in mind, the advice will be that anything that you replace the Bose with will be an improvement.

I am not as anti Bose as others but must agree that a pair of £250 floorstanders will sound better in stereo than what you are currently using.

Why not pop down to your nearest Bose dealer and have a demo of Bose against something else and decide for yourself.
