Speakers with odd connection

    or at least i think its odd, it has an RCA type connection, its just odd cause i cant find any receivers with this type of output, only wires. When i take the speakers apart, the actual speaker has the red and black positive and negative connection, so could i just clip the wires and hook them up to the receiver that way?

    They only use this connection for older systems (1970s) or dedicated amp/speaker systems. Snip them off and connect as colour coded, but remember they must be a half decent match for the amp you are using.
