    I'm currently running a merdian 501 pre into a meridian 555 power then B&W cm5 speakers.
I've just upgraded my DAC to a Chord 2Qute. I have around £1000 left to spend. The question is would I benefit more from an upgrade in preamp or speakers?
I already have a wanted on this forum for some cm6 s2s but i really fancy a Naim nac 202
    any advice please give
    regards
    The Lad

As a rule, it’s always speakers that make the biggest difference in any given room.

Assuming of course that the source and amps are up to spec. Which yours emphatically are... so...

However, as it’s good to be odd from time to time, have you considered something like this?

    Dirac Series : DDRC-24

I lied when I said it was speakers that make the biggest difference, it’s the room.

So something that removes the room as much as possible is great idea.

I would not be without mine.

If your amp runs in mono why not get another one and bi amp. That was a massive jump in sound quality for me
