Just laying the chinese slate floor in my new house and was wondering if I need to put spikes on my floorstanders. I can see them getting vibrations if I don't do something as the slate is not perfectly flat. Should I use spikes or some kind of absorbant feet? I had wood floor before and got good results with a bit of hard foam insulation under the speakers.

The cheap version is to use 1 or 2 penny pieces under the spikes:D
