I am looking to add a second set of switchable speakers to my Audiolab 8000a.

The speakers will be in the kitchen (probably mounted above the wall units) I currently have a set of Tannoy Eyris 1's running as the main speakers.

The cabling is all run, so this weekend is shopping time!

I don't want to spend a fortune as it's the kitchen and the sound will never be that good when it's competing against the extractor hood, oven etc. and the effects of steam, heat, grease is bound to do them no favours.

To that end it's current a straight fight between:

    JBL Control 1's http://ws3.richersounds.com/showproduct.php?cda=showproduct&pid=JBL-CONTROL1-SIL

    Gale 3010's

    Any other suggestions?

    Cheers

I guess I will just have to audition an go with one of these...the JBL's are favourite due to brand, and plastic (wipe clean) construction.
