I really dont want to buy a set of L/R speakers specifically for the Plasma if i can avoid it, particularly as the space is tight.

Need a way for wiring my existing kef 5005 speakers (fronts) to both the Pioneer LX508D as well as using them occasionally with the av setup (via denon AV receiver) - without swapping the speakers cables around ;)

If connecting my exisiting Kef isnt an easy and cheap option, then may consider getting a speaker bar which i can place under the plasma and top of a cabinet.

Any suggestions on the kef / speaker bar options (Pioneer or non Pioneer)?

You cannot run speakers directly from the Tv (unless they are PC-type speakers with a built-in amp).
You need to connect the audio out from the Tv to your AV amp.

The Pioneer plasma has a left / right speakers terminals. This is for adding a undermount or left / right speakers.

And about 15 watts per chan amp built in. I run a good pair of speakers from mine and it sounds good.

    So the original question(s) was:
Need a way for wiring my existing kef 5005 speakers (fronts) to both the Pioneer LX508D as well as using them occasionally with the av setup (via denon AV receiver) - without swapping the speakers cables around

If connecting my exisiting Kef isnt an easy and cheap option, then may consider getting a speaker bar which i can place under the plasma and top of a cabinet.

    Any suggestions?

Thanks, that's me learned something about this model then.
I still think your easiest option is to run the audio out to your AV receiver...why not...are they not located next to each other?

That's where a Harmony remote scores...1 press of a button does it all.
