Speakers for Arcam if you want the real "kick" from drums

    M&K tend to be pretty dynamic. Obviously, they will need partnering with a sub. I use my M&K S85 with an SVS 20-39 PC+

    don't know the exact number, but i have heard some elacs and they all have a very "fat" bass

    Have you considered importing Onix Rockets? Their models RS1K and my own RS 850's come to mind. You will be hard pressed to find their match anywhere near their price range.

    Read the description of the RS1K, and the link at the bottom of that same page, to get a very good sense of what these speakers are all about. The creator (Mark Schifter) is one of the people behind the excellent Genesis and Infinity speakers of old. RS 850's are equal to RS1K, minus the extra (sub)woofer.
