I mostly watch films, and I dont want to spend to much more than £500 (but all things are concidered), i dont need a sub as i have a nice rel Q150E that i bought recently.

I currently have tannoy MX2's and 1's as my front and rears. I have a NHT center (bought second hand).

Hm, how does your current center integrate with the Tannoy? Perhaps a change to the matching MxC would be recommandable, especially if you consider replacing the fronts with the Mx3 or 4.
That would probably the cheapest upgrade, I would not know of any set for GBP500 which would really be an upgrade as I think the Tannoys perform very well, so to hear a noticable difference you would probably need to spend a bit more.

Then again let's see what others have to suggest ...

    Justin,
To be happy, go for the matching 'Centre Speaker' with your front Pair. It's been mentioned over and over that the front 3 Speakers are the most important, and its wise to have them all from the same family. I also own the Denon 10SE. What have you set the Speaker Settings at? Fronts (large or Small?)

You could of course buy new fronts to match your center ...

    Yes! So have I.
I have tried the Front Pair in 'LARGE' and set the LFE to 'BOTH', But I find DVDS are Better when ' SMALL ' is selected all round, and 'SUB' selected.
I have read recently on Forums and NGs to set the FRONTs to 'LARGE', this is why I was confused and couldn't understand the reason for it.
