speakers distance!! tell me

    tell me why only once to calibrate this speaker distance set-up to receivers ,to achieve great sound ,why?let me learn pls....

    The sound from the five speakers plus the subwoofer should all arrive at your ears at the same time so the delays are programmed in to compensate for the different distances the speakers may be away from you

    its because the speed of sound in air is sufficiently low that you will notice small differences in distance. this is simply because the ear and brain processing is very very sharp to that sort of thing
