I have read quite a few threads about the savings to be made with twin and earth electrical cable over 3-4 quid speaker cable,i'm going to go with twin and earth to save some money. The question is how to wire this up.Twin and earth, do you use the earth or just the red and black? I'm using this with kef eggs,i have tried £3.99 pm cable from maplins and i cant notice the difference so its the cheaper option for me.

Use the colour coded conductors in the T&E into their respective terminals. cut the earth conductor (the uncovered one) all the way back so that it can't cause a short by touching either of the others.
