Speaker stands

    Can anyone advise me where I can get a pair of seakers stands for my Hi-Fi speakers.
    There are just a regular pair of speakers that I need to stand on something.

    I have been struggling to find I decent place. They all these new style ones used to Home cinema speakers

    What speakers do you have? It'd be helpful in being able to provide advice. Also, where abouts in the country are you (if in UK) as there may be places near you to have a look at some..

    Hey guys,
    I haven't got exact model number here with me but they are JAMO speakes about 12+ years old.
    They are just regular size speakers really. Sorry to be so vague.

    With regards to height, it's usually best to have the tweeter at around ear-height. I'm guessing you do most of your listening sitting down, so factor your seating position into the equation.

    £50 should get you a decent enough pair of stands

    I have taken the width and depth measurments of the speakers and the are about 19cm W by about 20cm D.
    I live down near Gatwick Airport.

    You will be able to buy stands at any hifi shop including Richer Sounds. They have Gale T50's and Alphason AA3's at the budget end of the scale and do the Soundstyle Z1 which is a real quality stand if you are serious about getting the best from your speakers.
