I’ve got some wall brackets arriving today for some Tannoy Eclipse ones that I have purchased.

I’m now thinking about buying some stands instead but the reason I went with the brackets is so I can mount them out of my kids way to save the cones.

What are the pros and cons of each option please [emoji4]

Do you mean Tannoy Eclipse speakers? These are often sold with some Denon products in a bundle. If they are what I think then the wall brackets will be fine, especially if you want to keep the cones in working order! There will be very little gained, apart from easier positioning, by using stands.

Yes! Sorry was half asleep when posting. I got the full set of tannoy speakers this week. The brackets I’ve ordered are the btech adjustable ones. I thought this would be safer than risking my kids pushing a stand over or putting fingers through cones!

I've got the B-tech holding my KEF R100s up. Well made, safe and easy to adjust. The R100s are roughly the same size as the Eclipse but about 2 kg heavier so they will have no problems with the Tannoys.

Thanks for your input guys. For now I’ve gone with them directly either side of my tv on the cabinet.
I’ll make up some hardboard inserts just to keep the cones safe when not in use and little fingers are about :p if this works then I’ll use the brackets for the rears!
