Just bought new speakers (Monitor Audio Bronze B4s with BFX rears). The range of each speaker in the set up is as follows:-

    B4 Fronts 36hz to 22khz
    B4 Centre 60hz to 22khz
    BFX Rears 65hz to 22khz

Previously I had Kef Eggs and had them all set to small, but as this set up has different ranges how should I set them up?

Also, what should I set the crossover frequency for my sub too now 40hz, 60hz or 80hz?

To start with I would recommend setting all speakers to small and crossover to 80hz. This is the THX recommended setup and with my old system (Denon 3802 & B&W DM603 front, 602.5 surrounds, LCR60 centre) worked very well for me.
If, like most of us on these forums, you want to play around at a later date you can try different settings to see what works best for you, but the above at least gives a starting point to refer back to.

    Mark.
