There seems to be some good deals on the Arcam FMJ P7 Power Amp at the moment.

I have Dynaudio Audience 52SE speakers.
(IEC long term power handling 150W, impedance nominal 4 Ohm)

    Is the Arcam P7 (150 W 8ohms 230 W 4ohms) a bit too powerful for the speakers then?

I find the 4ohm 8ohm thing a bit confusing and am not sure how one determines the ideal match.

Hi - no it's not too powerful provided you are mindful of not trying to run disco level sound for any length of time through the system.

    Hope this helps,
