Speaker positioning

Hi could someone advise if I am going to be positioning correctly. At the minute I have 5.1 kef egg speakers from a denon avr x2500r amp positioned as you can see on the front wall where the projector is a speaker to the left of the tv., speaker on the far right and a central one on the table. And on back wall just on either side of the room. I have now just purchased two DALI ALTECO C1 to make it 5.1.2 to have atmos. Should these be positioned in front (either side of the projector) and should be connected to surround back left and right?

Yep. The C1's should be mounted at ceiling height directly above your left & right front speakers. As in this picture:

The do indeed connect to the surround back terminals on the 2500H. Once connected, set them as "Front Heights" in the Amp Assign menu. Then rerun Audessey calibration.
