    Hello all,

Would an av and music setup using the pre outs of the av amp to the hifi amp be better suited to a speaker package, or would it be better to buy a pair of really strong fronts for the music and then add the centre, rears and sub after?

Can speakers designed for music provide good sound required for movies?

    Cheers,

    James :)

it depends what you want...... if music is your main concern, get the better main speakers. But you need to be aware that it will likely sound mismatched to a weedies surround setup. The centre most likely just wont be able to image well enough to contend with the fronts.

But i would also say that music speakers can definitely contend. I use a setup of 6 identical 0…7music type speakers and it continues to keep me smiling.
