I am contemplating buying a pair of Mission speakers and wondered if it would be possible to replace the standard mesh with some silver, as in the KEFs I have seen. Any comments or names of suppliers gratefully recieved.

Not that i have the missions, but I had to reply.....

Any mesh i see on any speakers passing my way i will instantly get rid of it! It makes a mess of the sound (to my hearing). Great example being mordaunt short ms20's.......not these were lovely little speakers on their own, but removing the metal mesh over the tweeter gave improvement akin to an amp upgrade!

I know you can often remove the mesh, i dont know where you could get replacement (perhaps b&q for some diy?). Personally i would remove it and leave it that way¬!
