Speaker issue

My centre speaker every now and again starts to distort and then practically looses all sound.
If I turn the system off and on again it fixes the issue for a while till eventually it will happen again.
Checked all the cables and connecions and all looks good.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Put the Center speaker on the Left or Right Channel, and that left/right speaker on the Center channel amp. Then see if the problem stays with the Amp channel or if it follows the speaker.
