    Hi guys
Not being at all good with my leccy know how. I tend to get a bit lost on the ohmage thing. Can someone either post a link explaining the difference between say 8 ohmn and 4 homn speaker impedience (apart from the obvoius). Or explain it to a dimwhit like me.

    TIA :smashin:

Damn that gave me a headache :rotfl:

Why is it that buying speakers is getting so hard to do now days? There`s ashtetics (wife factor) to consider, impedience, crossover frequencies etc. Let alone budget. The list just goes on and on. Back in the old days it was all so much easier

What exactly are you trying to do? I went through the article and I am not sure it's anything to do with bog-standard use of speakers. Are you wondering about mixing speakers with different impedence? What is it that you want to do?

I`m looking at getting some new speakers, but some of the ones i`m looking at are rated at 4 ohmns and my amp only has a 6/8 selector. I`m wondering weather or not it`ll be able to cope ok. Yam rvx 1400
