Just ordered some speaker connection plates for my rear surround speakers.
Speaker cable will be buried in wall around living room and be connected to speaker connection plates.
Is it best for the connection plates to be above or below the speakers?

    Thanks

I would say neither as it would look ugly. If the speakers are set away from the wall then behind, else forget the plates and connect the wires straight into the back of the speaker.

I think your right, I will just have the wires coming out of the wall and connect to speakers.
