Apologies in advance as I am sure that there are other threads that might cover this question, but I shall be short and sweet.
I have a Sony DVD 5.1 system and I need to replace the satalite and woofer speaker cable as the system has been repositioned. I have in the past cut and rejoined the cable as a short term measure but i think it is worth just replacing the cable rather and doing another botch job.

I also saw this on another AVforum post 79 Strand Twin Fig 8 Speaker Cable
Are these cables the same? Can someone recomend either one, or even a similar alternative that might be more suitable.
