Speaker cable query

    Hi all

    I have a Yamaha HTR-5540RDS av amp which is part of an HTiB-45 package including 5 twin-coned satellites and a subwoofer.

    The speaker cable that came with the kit is extensive (15 metres for each of the rears), but also pretty thin.

    I have been thinking of buying some of Richer Sounds, Gale 99p per metre speaker cable, but would this make much difference? I know that at least to some degree it would, but would it make a significant difference to the sound output considering the fact that I am using satellites?

    Personally, I would stick with the original.
    I have Naim NAC-5, QED Silver Anniversary Bi-Wire, and over the years various other strange brews.
    Without being condescending my feeling is that with what you have, you won't hear any difference.
    In all honesty, with what I have, I can't hear any difference.
