OK, finishing my system off. Just wondering what you folks would suggest speaker cable wise for my new set-up.

    Canton CD-1
    Yamaha RXV740
    Tosh 220E
    Philips 28" Telly

I see that Silver Aniversary for fronts is often used. However, I was wondering if that would be over the top for my system.

    These are the ratings:
    Satellites: 80...25.000 Hz
    Centre speaker: 70...25.000 Hz
    Subwoofer: 38...140 Hz

I'll get a digital coax from Mark Grant to connect the DVD. But I was thinking of a whitish coloured sub cable that would be a bit more discreet than black (wood floors) and could bend easily around corners if placement requires. (and won't break the bank). Any ideas there?

    Cheers,
    Jim

QED original. Sounds good, small, neutral jacket colour and seemingly indestructable. Used on my rears to good effect.

    Hi Rainbow6,

When you said you would be purchasing your digital coax from 'Mark Grant', who is Mark Grant? Online supplier?

    Thanks,

    Mark.

Mark is selling quality cables over in the power buys forum. He's got one thread for sub cables, and one for digital coax. I'm lead to believe it's great stuff at a great bargain!!
    ;)

Mark is a forum member who makes cables and supplies them to forum members at a fraction of the price that you would pay in the shops.

His digital co-axial cable has been described as a Rolls Royce cable at beer money prices.

The thread in the Powerbuy forum is here
