    Hello,

what is the "optimum" size of speaker cable?

I'm looking at these from CPC:

    2 X 2.0MM OFC L/S CABLE 100M @£37
    2 X 3.0MM OFC L/S CABLE 100M @£48
    2 X 4.0MM OFC L/S CABLE 50M @£31

Planning to buy the 2 x 2mm (to biwire)- good or bad idea? Why?

    :hiya:

The 2mm stuff will be fine unless you have a very high power amplifier (ie. are the power amplifiers alone worth several thousand pounds?) in which case I'd go for a greater diameter.
