I'm looking for some connectors for the speakers that come with my rented Hitachi TV. They are the weedy little ones with a flat pin and a round one. They seem to be fairly standard on TVs. I need some sockets, preferably in-line, but plugs may be useful as well. I've scanned the Maplin site with no luck.

I want them so I can try using a second amp to give me a sort of 4.0 surround from the DD outputs on the DVD player. As it's rented kit I can't really cut the cables. I might even be able to use the centre speaker on the TV stand to get 5.0!

Budget constraints prevent me from going and buying the proper surround system I want so I'm trying to get the best from stuff I've already got.

    Thanks

    Steve
