I am about to redecorate my lounge. I have got sattelite speakers on wall brackets and currently the cable is just stuck on the wall with masking tape (oh dear). The plan is to bury conduit in the wall, which is brick and plaster, rather than dry lined.

My question is - how should I deal with the point where the cable comes out of the wall. I don't want it to be just a hole. I guess the best solution would be some sort of wall plate with either binding posts, phono sockets or just some sort of device to surround the cable as it comes out.

The overriding concern is to keep the wife happy by it looking neat.

    Any ideas?
