Have been happily running my media center for about a year and a half, but through a pretty average audio set up. Since all my music is on the MC, and i watch all my tv and films through it, i figured it's about time i invested in a decent audio setup. So, i'm looking for an amp and surround speakers which are good with tv and movies, but more importantly good with my music collection (in mp3 format, and mostly 'brit-rock' - razorlight, muse, kaiser chiefs etc etc in case that makes a difference - oh, and it's digital audio out from the pc over co-ax or optical). The speakers have to be 'wife friendly' and the package needs to be under £1500 (am more than happy to consider much cheaper options as well!). At the moment i'm considering the new Kef Eggs (KHT3005) but need assurance that these will be sufficient for playing music. Any advice would be very welcome.
