Hi all

Just about to start the purchase of some speakers for an in ceiling multi room sonos setup. Im using the amped version of the sonos equipment.

I have been looking at the bose 791 speakers but because i need about 7 sets they start to become a bit pricey.

Are there any speakers in the range of about £250 per pair that would do the same job - im looking for a set that give a nice full range sound as i wont be adding any subs in any of the rooms.

Many thanks

Most of the main speaker manufacturer do ceiling speaker and they will sound better than the Bose for a fair bit less as well. Monitor Audio and Kef both do ceiling speakers and would be worth a look.

Any ideas on what models numbers may give the same quality - ive looked at the monitor audio ones but the better speakers seem to be in the same price range as the bose.

Im looking for about £200 - £300 per set

The cheapest MA ceiling speaker is going to be better than the Bose so no need to worry there. The c165 or c180 would be good places to start.
