I have a bose speaker setup (BOSE VCS-10 centre speaker, Accoustimass 5s for fronts and 161 as rears. My amp is a Yamaha DSP-AX620.

Although I do enjoy the sound I get from the above (cinema and music). I have been looking for a pair of floor standers purely for music (will continue to use the bose for cinema).

I have been looking at the Mission M33i.. but also been offered a pair of Royd Minstrel Special Edition (for the same money as the Missions). I used to own Minstrels some years ago, from what I remember they sounded great.

Am after recommendations for sub £200 speakers really (or advice.. missions or royds!).

Oh, I listen to all sorts from The Carpenters to Brit pop (nothing too loud or rocky though).

    thanks

    David

    Sorted it.

Spent a few days visiting various Hifi dealers together with my fave CDs. Listened to Mission Volare V62.. Mission M33i and Wharfedale EVO 20.

Chose the Wharfedales.. love the sound!

Have moved my Accoutimass 5s into the kitchen now :)
