First thing (and last for me) to check..... the optical cable!!!!!!
Arrgghhh!!!! 2 hours wasted messing around.... then I swapped the cable with the V+ optical cable and surprise surprise, no more skipping or quietness!
Anyone recommend a decent optical cable?
