Has anyone seen or heard anything about the quality of the Spaghetti Westerns Box Set (3 Clint films). I'm wondering if the picture and sound quality justify getting these on DVD.
    thanks

Sorry to say that the only one that gets a thumbs up from me is TG,TB&TU. Other two are really bad on DVD.

Those two show how DVD can take a very bad transfer and make it look and sound even worse. Get them on video as my copies on VHS are better than the DVD copies.

You can pick up the discs for as little as £7.99 seperately, but like alanrob I'd only recommend TGTBATU. I got the R1 disc delivered for under $10 and it looks great...that was about 18 months ago though.

Last time I was in Woolworths they had the set for £24.99

    Also,

Special editions of these films were released earlier this year, I think the box-set is just the original versions.
