Loved this when it was on sky :smashin: , but couldn't see any reference to it :clown:

However , did see a reference to a BATMAN : SPECIAL EDITION to coincide with the release of BATMAN BEGINS

Oh man, I loved this when it was on. Shunted all over the bloody schedules though, weren't it.

Anyone remember that episode where the guy went on a secret mission and there was almost no talking or action for the entire episode? That was class. Very tense.

    I'm very excited.

Space: Above & Beyond was a brilliant series - I still can't believe it was canned after just one year! Still it would be good to replace my SciFi Channel recordings of the series with properly authored DVDs.

Great to hear news of a DVD release. Finally! Shame it was cancelled after just one season. In America it was messed about in terms of scheduling, and here it was on BBC2 fairly late at night. Pity, I thought this series was great.

Excellent series. Ithink it was cancelled because it was just too expensive. Cost about $2m an episode (which was a lot for a TV prog then) and the ratings were not high enough to sustain that expense. If it had been considerably cheaper it would probably have run longer.

It's a shame everyone slags Manimal off now but at the time i thought it was quite good because it was that bit different from the usual cop shows of the era.
Must admit if i rewatched it now it would not quite cut the mustard but that's the same with most of these 70's series. Exception of CHiP's and Magnum which i still watch and enjoy reruns of.
