    got them both now and what a brilliant picture through hdmi.you have to get into the players menu before the hdmi works but when it does you can see the difference.i've only got 2 gripes.the samsung controls and menus are too slow and you have only got 2 picture size options on the sp50 through hdmi. i forgot another one,the stand that comes with the sammy is not worth taking out of the box,i made a better one out of a 79-99 unit from argos

    good grief, i love the stand i think it looks awesome, if you want to see a poor stand; just look at the Tosh :D :D

    i'm redecorating my lounge just to suit this TV...it'll look great

    120 KB & the picture has to be no more than 800pixels wide. :)
