    Hello all,

I've been doing a bit of reading of threads here and it seems that many of you are dealing with existing structures (raher than completely new construction) and also that many of you are dealing with walls / ceilings that are shared by neighbors. Interesting acoustical challenges.

It seems common to insulate the wall cavity and add a layer of plasterboard. There are concerns about maintaining room height and width, same concerns that we have over here.

Does this sound reducing protocol work satisfactorily? I ask, because I also see that most of you have subwoofers also. Bass is the most challenging of all HC sound to deal with, obviously.

    Looking for opinions.

    Thank you!
