Hi Everyone

Firstly, I am AV dim, so any explanations you can offer need to be levelled at a 5 year old.

I have the following:

Sony Bravia TV - model KDL40D3500 (approx. 11 years old)
Sharp Soundbar - model HTSL50 (approx. 7 years old)

We have no ARC and no Optical on either items

Could anybody help with how we can link these two up please (if we can at all).

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have.

Regards
Raynette

Does your TV and soundbar have a pair of phono inputs? Or you might be able to use the headphone socket on your TV with the following cables..

The soundbar has a 3.5mm audio in according to a review, located at the bottom of the subwoofer just by the power input. , The Sony should have both phono(RCA) and 3.5mm(headphones) output.

It will probably depend where these are located on the TV for convenient cabling.

Both cables DTS showed should work
